Floating Continent Glitch Fixes
Stable Build
The fixes are for the Mato translation by Clyde Mandelin, currently maintained by Kain Stryder, available here. The latest translation is for T-Edition v3.0.5+.
The fixes address the following glitches found in the Floating Continent in the World of Ruin, as documented in the translation’s readme.
- Entering a certain teleporter invokes a “Form 7 parties” menu, from which a player cannot exit.
- Entering another teleporter freezes the game.
The T-Edition mod itself also has similar glitches on the Floating Continent. These glitches are not addressed by this hack; instead, see the related hack below. The two fixes can be used together.

- Catoblepas can now be fought – v0.05 (separate version available for T-Edition v2.9.7)
- Strago donning Lunar Cloak with Terra in party no longer causes certain Espers and spells to be lost – v0.06
- Gau can now equip Atma Weapon – v0.07
- The trophy for getting all the Espers is now awarded in Narshe Beginner House. – v0.08
