- Challenge Edition — Removes the DK Barrels (which restore your lost character) and Warp Barrels (level skips).
- Expert Edition — Removes the DK Barrels, Warp Barrels, and Star Barrels (checkpoints).
- Hero Edition — Removes the DK Barrels, Warp Barrels, Star Barrels, and Donkey Kong himself! You must play through the entire game with just Diddy!
