Ultraman Club: Chikkyuu Dakkan Sakusen (English Translation) FDS

Ultraman Club: Chikkyuu Dakkan Sakusen is the first video game in the Ultraman Club franchise. In this game, you play as Ultraman, and you must free your Ultra Brothers from the Kaiju Army.

This game doesn’t have a levelling system. Instead, you raise your states by quests from friendly kaiju who ask you to do something in each stage. Also, with a cursor, you can aim at a certain part of the kaiju’s body, and you can strike at a weak spot and inflict more damage that way. (You’ll know you hit a weak spot when a bandage appears.)

Note: While you can enter and complete the first five stages in any particular order, you must play the City stage last to reach the sixth and final Underground stage.

Note II: This game has a very annoying bug. If you rescue Ultraman Taro from the Refinery stage and later travel to the Glacier stage, Ultraman Taro’s Ultra Freezer will do zero damage and won’t freeze enemy kaiju in place. This bug occurs in the Japanese FDS ROM.
