There are two versions of the patch. One is based more or less on the Ranma anime, the other is based more on the manga.

The game opens with the Jusenkyou Guide breaking a gravestone in the legendary god and demon graveyard. Then the game moves on to Ranma. During a not so peaceful morning, Ranma, after being force to train with Akane, sits down to have breakfast when the lights go out. When the lights come back on a group of henchmen from the Crimson Cat Gang are standing in the room preparing to abduct Ranma’s father because he is a strong fighter. After some discussion about if others in the room are stronger, they finally do make off with Genma. So starts Ranma’s search to find Ranma’s father and find the secrets to why he was abducted in the first place, and maybe a little revenge for not considering Ranma strong while he is at it too.

If you like Ranma the anime or manga, then this game is a must play experience. We’ve worked very hard on the Anime Edition to make sure the same feel and vibe that was found in the Viz translations and dub also come through in this game. However, for those that do not like the Viz translation, Pelrun also made you a more literal version called the Manga Edition.
