Along with Sivak Drac, Yuifa was a pioneer of the playable character patches we know and love today. Originally released in 2001 and archived by Fabiansummers in the late 2000s, Roll-Chan OG was a major inspiration for Zynk Oxhyde’s own patch series, alongside the Rockman 1 cell phone game and an unfinished Roll-Chan fangame by Tarbo. Yuifa also made patches for the next 4 Rockman games. Despite being rough around the edges, Roll-Chan OG is charming for its unique art style that resembles the 1980s era of magical girls.
