Power Strike II on the Sega Master System is considered the greatest shooter on the system having been developed by Compile in 1993 and published by Sega. It is very hard and requires a lot of trial and error to succeed and make it to the end but God Mode has made the game extremely easy for those of you who are greatly troubled by this game’s difficulty.
What does this patch do exactly you may be thinking?
Straight to the point:
- Unlocks debug options.
- Added title logo, ending test and round demo to the options.
- Added stage select.
- Added the choice to play with death, no death or free death/infinite lives.
- Added boss test.
- Can now keep primary and secondary weapons after death.
- Invincibility two times the normal time.
- Unlocked comfort difficulty.
NOTES:
It can be played and finished in a breeze or can still be played in the normal fashion as the retail version. Whatever you like basically but you have more options available.
This game and patch has not been optimised for NTSC 60Hz, you can still fully play this game in NTSC 60Hz or on the USA setting on an emulator but the gameplay and music play extremely fast not how the developer intended it.
The lead programmer of this game has confirmed that PAL 50Hz is indeed the correct speed.
This patch unlocks everything from the get-go which saves you the trouble of having to find multiple codes from a Game Genie or a Pro Action Replay device.
