Mortal Kombat II – Simple Stage Fatals
July 30th, 2024
BillyTime! Games
——————–
This patch is designed to allow for Simpler Stage Fatalities in Mortal Kombat II for Sega Genesis

How it Works:
——————–
At the end of a Match, players can simply uppercut an opponent in The Deadpool, Kombat Tomb or Pit II and perform a stage fatality. This operates similar to MK1’s Pit mechanics.

Stage Fatality inputs are still accepted and work as intended.

How to Patch:
——————–
1.Grab a copy of Mortal Kombat II (World).md
2.Grab Floating IPS (https://rhpz.org/FLIPS)
3.Patch your rom with the corresponding IPS file (Use only one patch.)

A Great Patch For Those Of Us That Are Not Good At Learning Fatality Moves

Written by: Adrian Gauna - November 23, 2024

Love the Mega Drive/Genesis port of MKII and I myself know how to do the correct stage fatality combinations quite well for many years and once you learn them they're not that hard to do but there was once a time when there was no internet and no where to reveal how to pull off the many finishing moves and I bet there are still gamers today that are still in that mindset who love Mortal Kombat II but still can't perform any basic finishes which is where this patch comes in.

This patch makes performing the most basic stage fatalities no longer a chore. Simply uppercutting your opponent on either ''The Deadpool, Kombat Tomb or The Pit II'' on a ''Finish Him'' or a ''Finish Her'' causes your opponent to either get burned by acid in a pool, impaled by spikes on a ceiling or dropped from a big fall, so those annoying inputs are no longer needed which makes this patch great for those of us that enjoy the game but can't perform them to begin with.

This patch serves to make the game easier which is always welcoming so I give it a 10/10.

A patch I would recommend for your Mortal Kombat 2 library.
