Introduction:
This mod/romhack is designed to modify the game “Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch” on Apple Silicon Mac computers. It will not work on any other Apple devices, or the more recent Android port. Two mods are included:
1: Restoration of the 1999 Working Designs English dub from Lunar Silver Star Story Complete, in both the FMV and the normal gameplay voiced scenes. Some FMV edits were made to mimic the FMV edited by Working Designs. The outtakes were added onto the end of the last FMV.
2: Incorporation of the FMV from the Japanese Windows 9x version. This version of the FMV has more vibrant colors than the ones normally present in SSST.
Instructions for modding:
Unzip the folder “XA_WAV” from this download. Replace all files in the folder “XA_WAV” in the following directory on your Mac with the files from this download:
/Applications/Lunar SSST.app/Wrapper/LunarTouch.app/LUNAR1DATA/Sounds/Track1/VOICE/XA_WAV
Unzip the folder “Movies” from this download. Replace all files in the folder “Movies” in the following directory on your Mac with the files from this download:
/Applications/Lunar SSST.app/Wrapper/LunarTouch.app/LUNAR1DATA/Movies
Replace the file “logo_ios_xtra.png” with the file from this download in the directory:
/Applications/Lunar SSST.app/Wrapper/LunarTouch.app/LUNAR1DATA/XNA_UI/title
If you want to use the Windows 9x FMV with Japanese audio, overwrite 6 files from the “Movies” folder in the game directory with the contents of the folder “MoviesJapanese” in this download. These are unedited versions of the 6 FMV I edited to match the Working Designs dub.
Note that for “Lunar SSST.app” and “LunarTouch.app” you will have to right-click and click “Show Package Contents” in the pop up menu.
If you update the game, the modded files will revert to the vanilla version. Simply repeat the process described above, and they will return to the modded state.

The Outtakes cut out prematurely and go to the main menu.
This is a fan-made project and is NOT officially connected with Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch, SoMoGa, GameArts, or any other companies involved in publishing it.
