As the title suggests, this document is a highly detailed guide to the creation and use of table files for the purposes of ROM hacking. Table files are one of the most integral and basic items needed for ROM translation and text modification and are not optional if you hope to move beyond the most crude levels of ROM hacking. This document will explain how to create table files for ROMs from any system in both English and Japanese (or any other language you might desire.)
