I've uploaded a new patch (1.20) that might resolve the issue you're dealing with. Your save file will be transferred.
I think that this is an emulator issue. Iirc, the checksum is wrong. I never fixed because every emulator I tried never bothered to verify. If you are trying to use on console, I said somewhere up there that this is emu only. Best of luck on resolving this!
Hey, love the game so far! ...I did just come across a maybe softlock tough. Small spoilers below: So I somewhat screwed up in that forced labor dungeon. I entered the boss room, flew with the ship and then the next room flooded (as intended). Thing is, I was already kinda tired, so I screwed the deactivation up and died. Next time the room was fully flooded. Okay, I thought to myself - time to restart. Well, now nothing floods anymore, but the room with the switch is too high up. Am I just f'ed? I did not find the song of flame yet... I kinda dont wanna restart because of this, my safe file has two fully completed main dungeons... TY for the help!
This CRC32 after patching is shown in SNES 9X right? When you check the file in any other tool you get a different CRC32.. For example try the RHDN rom hasher. It works for me in any other emulator I tried. SNES 9X does not boot.. I will do more testing later and tell Rainbow if I find anything. Should be fixed: https://github.com/snes9xgit/snes9x/issues/874
My understanding is that romhackers don't want to add an AP patch to avoid legal troubles. However, you can hack the game to add AP yourself. I used this forum thread to do it myself. FAST6191's posts, especially his third post, was very helpful. https://gbatemp.net/threads/zelda-spirit-tracks-using-ap-patch-and-d-pad-patch-at-the-same-time.536974/
I did just breeze through it and it looks awesome. I will consult it when I decide to go deeper. Cool to see all the hex tool love. (assembler love is overrated and yeha it would be the first thing I would jump on when there is one to patch. Since documented code is nice to come gack to..) I would love to see SNES guide. I was thinking to put something to get too.. but I am super distracted and probably not the best person to write guides. Thanks for all your patches, cheats and guides!
I'm not getting those reults in the slightest, Could you please walk me through, set by step, of what you are doing?
4096 "____" [bad checksum] ExHiROM, Corru pt, ROM+RAM+BAT, NTSC, SRAM:Corrupt, ID:b__, CRC32:BB869CBD that's what pops up when I try to load the game. The game will not boot.I'm using the CRC32 that is recommended in the post.
Idk, I just make the game stop using slowrom for its 65816 operations. The differences are likely to be negligable but could provide a few frames saved for loading.
How is it corrupt? I feel you are mistakenly using the wrong file/version. How big is your rom? 4.096mb or 4.097?

I've gotten to the abyss and genuinely have no Idea how to continue, I got desperate and looked at playthroughs from ZFG and others only to find a key and an entire room that doesn't exist in my game? Any help or explanation would be so greatly appreciated I'm losing my mind and really want to finish this hack since I'm nearing the end. I'm on version 1.19 but I originally patched the game with an earlier version I'm not sure which. I've attached an image where there is literally a door for any gameplay of this room I've seen as well as a key laying on the floor that is also not present, am I just missing something??
