Eek! The Cat for the SNES is a pretty infamous game; not only for its gameplay, but also for featuring very dark colors. Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t the fault of the SNES’ brightness register. What you see in the game is how the palettes are actually stored in the ROM.
This hack brigthens up every color palette (save for two splash screens that didn’t need it) with the help of GIMP’s Stretch HSV filter, making the graphics easier to see now.
