χ, pronounced "Kai", a project of Dr. Wily, abandoned in favor of focusing effort into completing the Zero Project. Presumably completed by Serges and made leader of the X-Hunters, she was scrapped early on in Megaman X 2's game development (along with Violen's 2nd form) due to ROM size restrictions.
A segment in Rockman: Complete Works indicates that she was indeed designed to be female.
