This patch, when applied to an NES Metroid rom, will output a 3MB file that should be saved as a .SFC.
After that, you have a full port of Metroid on the SNES!
Not only does this port eliminate all slowdowns and flickering, it also adds a complete inventory system that allows you to toggle equipment.
You also get a full map, with areas visited marked in an alternate color.
All original passwords still work, and all passwords that used to crash the game no longer do so!
