Normally, to access Miracle Mode, you have to enter this code at the title screen:
Using controller 1, input this code at the title screen; a fanfare will play after you’ve entered this code correctly. After pressing Start, the MIRACLE MODE option will appear below SOUND TEST.
Up x5, Left x4, Right x3, Down x2
After patching, this mode is freely selectable without entering the code.
