Fruits Mahjong for the Famicom Disk System is unique; there is one two-sided program disk: Fruits Mahjong 1 - Disk 1 - Mahjong Game Hontai (Japan) (Unl)

And seven data disks: Fruits Mahjong 1 - Disk 2 - Dai H Taikai (Japan) (Unl) Fruits Mahjong 2 - Disk 1 - Tokimeki Gals (Japan) (Unl) Fruits Mahjong 2 - Disk 2 - Yonin to Dai H Taikai (Japan) (Unl) Fruits Mahjong 3 - Disk 1 - Yonin no Tenshi Tachi (Japan) (Unl) Fruits Mahjong 3 - Disk 2 - Tottemo H na Gogo (Japan) (Unl) Fruits Mahjong 4 - Disk 1 - Bishoujo Connection (Japan) (Unl) Fruits Mahjong 4 - Disk 2 - Daitan H na Hirusagari (Japan) (Unl)

The game boots with side A of Fruits Mahjong 1 - Disk 1 (program disk), then prompts for a load of side A from any one of the data disks. After pressing the A button a couple times to advance past two artwork screens, the game prompts another load of side A of Fruits Mahjong 1 - Disk 1. After that point, game play begins.

The included python script produces each of the seven different permutations of game data to be used in Fruits Mahjong (the progam disk as disk 1, merged with each of the seven game data disks as disk 2).

This makes it possible to play the game in an emulator or an FDSStick with a real FDS RAM Adapter (press button on FDSStick three times to switch to side A on disk 2, press button once to return to side A on disk 1).

INSTRUCTIONS:

Place all eight Fruits Mahjong FDS files in the same directory as the python script. Each of these eight files should be 131000 bytes. Make sure these no-intro FDS files are named as the following:

Fruits Mahjong 3 - Disk 2 - Tottemo H na Gogo (Japan) (Unl).fds<br></br>
Fruits Mahjong 4 - Disk 1 - Bishoujo Connection (Japan) (Unl).fds<br></br>
Fruits Mahjong 4 - Disk 2 - Daitan H na Hirusagari (Japan) (Unl).fds

Run the python script from that directory. After running the script, the following files will be produced:
