This was hard to come around when trying to find an official PAL 50Hz. Seeing that I managed to find a proper 50Hz version of Crackpots (Originally with the wrong colours and missing the Activision logo.)

Whilst I know there is a similar game to this out there officially made called Boom Bang. But I wanted to look into finding a proper 50Hzz version of Crackpots. Finally I been able to.

I gone and checked it using Stella to be sure this was Crackpots. Sure enough, it definitely is that game. Seeing the original ROM had the colours all wrong that is displayed on a PAL system of the 2600. But correct colours on a NTSC System Atari 2600 running in PAL speed.

I taken the effort to go ahead with changing the colour values on Hack-O-Matic 3 to make this PAL version hack of Crackpots to show the correct colours, Along with adding in the values to display The Activision logo with the rainbow banner beside the “A” on the logo, as well as putting in “Copyright 1983” as that was the year that this game was published by Activision, Conceived and Designed by Dan Kitchen to make it look like a legitimate PAL Version release of Crackpots from Activision.

This is NOT a PAL60 hack. This is a 100% Genuine 50hz PAL ROM Hack.

Feel free to give this Hack a go.

ENJOY!
