You’ve seen Geometry Dash on Mobile. You’ve seen Geometry Dash on Steam.

Now, experience Geometry Dash for your NES!

A team of dedicated fans have faithfully recreated the Geometry Dash engine in beautiful 6502 to give you the greatest homebrew that has ever hit the NES!

12 original RobTop levels have been recreated, and 3 community levels have been added for this version.

Famidash is a rhythm-based, action platformer that will test every limit of your patience. There are no checkpoints – every time you die, you must try the level over from the start!

Don’t worry though! – There is a practice mode! Simply pause the game, hit B and you’ll set a checkpoint to restart at so you can master any parts of a level.

Avoid distractions as the game switches your playmode from a jumping cube to a flying ship to a hopping UFO to a rolling ball and more!

The engine supports even more features, such as dual mode, wave, spider, swingcopter, robot, green orbs, spider pads and camera controls!

Plug in an SNES Mouse (Mesen/hardware supported) to control the game ever more precisely, as you navigate and play the entire game without a joypad!

Coming soon to kickstarter as well, where we will create even MORE features for the cartridge version!!

(Beat all of the main levels to unlock that mystery lock…)

A strange bug in version 1.1. “EON” level the block “Dash down” when in contact with the ground – my Cube no longer jumped. I can’t get more than 61% of it. I thought that the “turbo button” for jumping would save me from this state, but it also did not allow me to pass the level further. The result is that it is impossible to jump after landing on the ground and the cube falls from the platform and heads into the wall, in certain loss of life

Check what’s wrong there, because it shouldn’t be like that

I don’t think a port without permission of a copyrighted game would be legal. Does RobTop Games know about this?

NGL, your demake really impressed me, I wish you could do the same thing on SEGA Megadrive/Genesis!

I really want to see how GD would sound and look like on 16bit console, that would be great for SEGA Genesis users to try it out, great stuff

Now I understand why…

... the players of that time were fans of this game and why it is relevant.

A little bit about the game. The "rhythm" style of games didn't catch on to me before. BUT over time, I got carried away and was interested in going through them. In our city, "Geometry Dash" is impossible to get (for some reason). But even so, after hearing the tracks and seeing the video clips, I was interested and wanted to try the experience for myself

"Who says you have to play this? The game is not your level. The game is not of your genre and association" - One person asked me a question and tried to approve. And I will answer like this: Curiosity!

And you know, after completing 12 main levels and one of Increased Difficulty, although I did not fall in love with her, I gained experience and pleasure from the game. Yes... I died 100-150 times, but as soon as I received the sign: "The stage is passed," pride played in me.

Can I recommend her? Not for everyone.

Why?

  1. reason: Casual players will immediately throw it away because it is too difficult for them (that is, the difficulty is not for everyone)
  2. reason: These are photosensitive people. Personally, I had an unpleasant experience in the game because of the palette of the local green color (it was a mixture of white + green) and it was unpleasant to play and hurt my eyes.

Will I lower my grade because of this? No! BECAUSE these factors do not deserve to be downgraded, because Homebrew is quite competent and interesting. And the pain of the "green color" is just my problem!
