Hi. Is this mod intended to work on real psx console? I've patched the game rom and then burned to a CD but when I press R2 the game stops responding to the controller pad. It seems to work fine in emulation, though.

I played through the game and didn't run into any issues. I did have it freeze on emulator when going from Jack's Balcony to the 2F Hallway after obtaining the gold key, but this happens to me on the original game as well. Thanks for the translation!
Download the newer version from the update link posted in the description. Fixed the continue screen softlock, the index error, the marsh damage bug. Various improvements.

This is incredible! This might sound like a joke but my friends and I have been obsessed with this game for years and there being a complete English TL is just amazing. Very excited to play it and get welcomed to this strange slice of pseudo-Americana!

I found the problem area where the clue at Deborah Cliff was causing the game to spout garbage text. The line has been fixed with an update to v1.0a to the patch. Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention.
