Just first want to start by saying well done to RHP for adding stuff so quick here and getting it up and running.

I would like to make a suggestion for the translations/hacks sections, add search by GENRE.
At the moment its not that bad but when you get to the point where you have thousands of patches its going to be such a pain to search down through each patch/hack for a specific game without being able to search by genre.

For example, in SNES, you can search by Author, language, status etc.. BUT you cant search by genre, i'd think this would be an important type of search function to add.. as there's nothing anywhere on patch pages telling you what type of game it actually is.

Thanks

    Hi,
    Another suggestion.
Some type of history of our posts in our profile section would be nice. This will allow people who use the site to quickly find their previous posts.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Genre filtering is possible, but authors/moderators will have to go back behind the entries.
As for the second suggestion, I didn't understand it. In the profile menu, there's already a list of the entries you've sent.

Benjamin Hmm not sure why but after i posted these suggestions it didnt show up on my profile straight away, so missed it but its there now, not sure what happened there. So forget that suggestion.

Well hopefully the genre is added and used by the Author/mods, it'll definitely be easier for people who only like playing RPG or Platform or whatever to search.

Thanks for the replay any hows Benjamin.

Benjamin I just wanted to drop by to say I very much appreciate your guys hard work I'm a retro emulation nerd I love rom hacks and I very much appreciate you and your team's hard work keep it up you were featured on Mr. Sujanos YouTube channel as the new number one spot to go for romhacks and I couldn't agree more I discovered your site one day before they decided to call it quits over it Romhacking.net so I am very appreciative keep up the good work and if you're ever looking for a new team member I would make one hell of a solid one 😉

Your work getting romhackplaza up and running is very much appreciated, a heartfelt THANK YOU for your efforts!
I'd like to leave some feedback:

        Feature Requests:

        • I'd like to suggest adding some badges or labels for "updated" submissions.
        • A sort-option for "date-lastUpdated" (asc/desc) would be a nice addition.

        Minor bugs:

        • The "relevant link" in the submission form is erased upon editing
        • The mobile view of an entry would benefit if the columns for screenshot and content would break instead of being displayed side-by-side

          ArcadeTV

Romhacks whose version number has changed are updated to the current date. As if it were a new romhack.

As for the link, I'm the one who removed it from your publication, because there's no point in putting the Plaza link back, knowing that we're on it.

As for the rendering on mobile, I'll see.

          20 days later

Just out of curiosity, how would you implement genre filtering ?

like, use an existing Game Database (or DAT file with that info) ?
