Description

"Welcome House 2" translation patch v1.0, by Chapu of ChapuTranslations. Completely translates the game from Japanese to English. All in-game texts are translated, including images. Game is fully playable.

Human translated and proofread. Did a thorough playtest to iron out spacing and edit text, but something could've been missed. Let me know.

UPDATE Version 1.1 (12/06/2024):

Fixed bug with memory card save file display text.
Minor script fixes for spacing and wording.

Patch is a PPF3 file, includes undo data. Released 12/03/2024: Happy 30th birthday, Playstation!

This is incredible! This might sound like a joke but my friends and I have been obsessed with this game for years and there being a complete English TL is just amazing. Very excited to play it and get welcomed to this strange slice of pseudo-Americana!

I played through the game and didn't run into any issues. I did have it freeze on emulator when going from Jack's Balcony to the 2F Hallway after obtaining the gold key, but this happens to me on the original game as well. Thanks for the translation!
