The game, “Reigen Doushi” was released in the United States under the name “Phantom Fighter”, but the game was originally a licensed game based on the 1985 Chinese horror-comedy film known internationally as “Mr. Vampire“. You play the part of the movie’s protagonist, Master Kau (played by the late Lam Ching-ying). With your pupil, Man-Choi (played by the late Ricky Hui), you’re traveling the Chinese countryside purging villages of the vampiric kyonshi.
