Description

After a long period of inactivity, this translation is finally finished! Everything in the game is complete, including the intro and endings. Release 1.02 fixes bugs reported in the 2011 complete release. Have fun!

It should also be noted that this patch will only work on version 1.1 of the ROM with a header.

A great translation for a great game

After many years of fans having to rely solely on incomplete and inaccurate translations containing made up or filler text, this game finally receives the complete translation it deserves. Dragon Ball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu has an interesting card based battle system and covers the events of the Saiyan and Freeza sagas from the anime/manga.

However, unlike the original NES DBZ titles, this game no longer requires the player to use cards in order to move around the world map. This patch is complete, accurate and well translated in a way that’s true to the series and its feel. So if you’re a fan of DBZ or just like the idea of flying, fast fighting and ki (energy) blasts being tossed around at your opponents, be sure to give this game and translation a try.

Dang, I just noticed that I made a small mistake in my review for this translation. Where it says "unlike the original SNES DBZ titles", this should have been "the original NES DBZ titles", not SNES. What I meant to say was that the SNES version doesn't require the use of cards to move around like the NES RPG titles did. Too bad reviews can't be edited. Not sure why this is though, as all other posts and submitted content is.
