The only difference here is that the region lockout screen has been changed from Europe to USA so PAL regions can get a chance to play this.

NOTES:

1. The patch is in Lunar IPS format and simply needs to be patched to the USA ROM of Sonic 3. The checksum is already fixed.

2. The data select screen is corrupted but is still manageable and should save gameplay like normal.

3. All music by Michael Jackson and Brad Buxer have been removed.

4. No slow music for PAL 50Hz.

5. In the Special Stages the music will come to a complete stop once you get 50 rings, but will start up again once you leave the Special Stage. A bug that was never addressed.

7. Lastly, the making of ROM hacks and leaving PAL regions out of the compatibility process is a tiresome stunt seen over and over. Not everybody has a USA NTSC Genesis and or uses 60Hz as their preference, there is a smaller minority that still use PAL 50Hz and as such, every contingency should always be thought of. If possible ROM hackers should tick their work for all regions to play or make 3 separate ROM patches for all 3 regions. Let’s think of everybody.
