The PC version of Blizzard Arcade Collection includes an updated variation of Rock N’ Roll Racing where new race tracks were created for Division A races. Included in the game’s files is a fully functioning SNES ROM with these alternate tracks.  There were other alterations to the ROM, notably the removal of the song “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath and the music turned off by default.

This hack injects these alternate race tracks into the original version of RRR with the complete soundtrack and the music turned on by default. The tracks can be considered “official” as they were created by Blizzard. They tend to be a bit harder than those in the base game.

There are 36 new tracks total. Only 31 can be played in Vs. Mode. The last 5 are exclusive to Inferno on the Warrior difficulty in the main game.

The game is fully compatible with my Alternate Paint Colors hack.

KNOWN BUG: The game will get stuck during the “highlights” shown during the ending of the game since the track has been changed.

Changelog:

Version 1.1 – Replaced 5 more tracks. These are not available in VS mode (where the first 31 tracks loop). These can only be played on Inferno on Warrior difficulty. The original game functions this way as well. Also changed the name to “Alternate Race Tracks” so it’s clear the hack doesn’t have alternate music tracks.

Version 1.2 – Fixed graphical glitch on the puddles on Bogmire levels.
