Description

Pokémon Crystal – Pikachu Edition brings the most iconic Pikachu features from Pokémon Yellow into Pokémon Crystal. Pikachu is now your only starter and follows you throughout your journey, complete with expressive pop-up animations, unique cries, and the classic mood progression system. Your partner Pikachu also receives improved stats and, just like in Pokémon Yellow, refuses to evolve with a Thunder Stone.

Changes made to Pikachu spawning behavior and behavior in case of approaching NPC's, Pickachu will jump out of the way of approaching NPC to prevent overlapping sprites.

thank you, I have now reproduced the freeze/crash and determined that the issue is the Pikachu’s collision check encountering Vermilion’s Snorlax object and making a same-bank call to a routine that actually lives in another ROM bank. I have already patched the issue and will be uploading a fixed version in a few minutes. Many thanks for reporting the bug and providing the save file.

Do you have a save file from that point so that I can debug what goes wrong. I guess this is a bug that was introduced late in the development and why I never encountered it. If you have the save file please attach it in a message and I will have a look.

theres a bug where after slowpoke well then kurt disappears also bug catching contest people are missing and apon entering goldenrod with pikachu the game will then totally freeze
