FOOOOOUR

this game is without a doubt a true Australian H.E.S. original release. it was only released in PAL. Believe it or not. I thought I go ahead to do the reverse. By converting this game to NTSC 60. I know there is one made by Thomas Jentzsch. However whilst his one is OK. But. It did missed the mark as it was not quite at 60.0fps, Upon looking. the one made by Thomas was at 57.4fps with 274 scanlines. That is not good on real hardware. So like this one I did from scratch on the retail H.E.S. PAL version I used. I converted it to make sure it would run at proper 60Hz speed and at even 262 Scanlines. (SET THE STELLA EMULATOR TO DEVELOPER MODE TO SEE FOR MORE DETAILS.)

Before you ask does it really matter if it's at 274 scanlines at 57.4fps? If you are willing and wanting to play it on real hardware. then YES. it does matter. The math doesn't lie here. My goals are to IMPROVE the gameplays, adjust the clock timing and adjusting the game's kernel entirely as well as colour palette modifying in order to have a way better gameplay. Just a shame the higher ups at AtariAge didn't appreciate my contributions over there. So that's why I'm bringing all my conversions on to here instead.

I want to make sure that with my conversions, It not only there to play on emulators. But to guarantee hardware users that It can and will run on original 1977-1980's Atari 2600 hardware on a real CRT TV how it was made for. Being a PAL exclusive release. I made sure that when I adjusted the game's kernel and clock timing on the disassembly. I would make 100% sure that it will run a NTSC converted game at True 60.0fps gameplay. If you want to play this on a real NTSC Atari 2600 console. Go with this one. You will not be disappointed. None of that "It's close enough" Or "It's good enough for a emulator." Bullcrap.

I also set the colours to the correct colours if you are playing this on a NTSC Atari 2600 system.

Game works wonders on any emulator (Especially Stella) This game will work on 0riginal Atari 2600 Hardware (4-switcher, 6 switch & Atari 2600 Jr ) using the harmony cartridge. Will work on the new 2600+

NOTE: When trying to patch this, Make sure when patching this using Lunar IPS, On the drop menu, Change the setting from “Most Common ROM Files” to “All Files” so that you can patch this to a Atari 2600 ROM format.
