This patch is designed to introduce new ways to play Alien Soldier for the Sega Genesis with new modifiers that can be mixed and matched.

Update 4/21/2026: Fixed crash using Type 1 status bar and Infinite Health Modifier

How it works:

In the options menu, the SE and Voice Test has been replaced with two mod options. You can pick two which will in turn customize your game.

List of Modifiers

00 - Nothing 01 - 2x Damage Against Bosses (3x if Stacked) 02 - Infinite Time 03 - Infinite Health 04 - Infinite Weapons 05 - Infinite Credits (Super Hard Only - Incompatible with No Credits) 06 - No Credits (Super Hard Only - Incompatible with Infinite Credits) 07 - No Starting Health (Health can be upgraded) 08 - 2x Starting Health 09 - Damage Mitigation (Subtracts 10 from oncoming damage - 20 if stacked)

also included in this patch is Ammo Regen and Password Sram Features.

Ammo Regen:

After every second passes on the in game timer, a small amount of ammunition is restored across all four weapons in Epsilon-Eagle's arsenal.

This hack also accounts for if the player increases the ammo cap for any particular weapon and checks for the new cap accordingly.

*Game saves only on Supereasy difficulty at the continue screen

Loading:

*Enter password screen upon boot, your password will be automatically loaded.

Notes:

*Checksum Bypass and Region Bypass are included features with this patch.

How to Patch:
