Alex Kidd 5 - Forgotten Kingdom

Hello, everyone!

I’m very happy to announce the release of the English Version 0.2 of my ROM hack, Alex Kidd 5: Forgotten Kingdom!

In this version, the game is available in English and is playable through Stage 8. Stage 9 is currently under development and will be added in a future update.

5. Kingdom in Flames

7. Forest of the Shadow Webs
8. Morpheia — City of Morpheus

Stage 9 is currently under construction.

In this adventure, Alex and Estella travel to a mysterious kingdom in search of the Five Sacred Crystals. Their mission is to gather all five crystals and find Morpheus, the only craftsman capable of forging the Palantir, a powerful artifact that can imprison the Dark Wizard and save the Forgotten Kingdom.

Throughout the game, you will play some stages as Alex and others as Estella. Each character plays an important role in the adventure. However, because Estella has lost part of her powers, she can collect magical items but cannot use them. This limitation is part of the story and also makes her stages more challenging.

This is still a work-in-progress version, so there may be a few minor bugs or translation issues. However, they should not affect the overall gameplay experience.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who has supported the project. Your feedback and suggestions are very important in helping Alex Kidd 5: Forgotten Kingdom continue to evolve into an even better ROM hack for the Sega Master System community.
