This is a MUST HAVE hack if you consider yourself a true Mortal Kombat fan, it's THE version we never get to have on the NES back in the day. New music, improved graphics for all characters, menus and stages with The Bottom Pit being featured for the first time on a NES version, we also have the Battle Plan, new sprites for Goro that finally turns him into a big menacing guy rather than the little funny thing he was in Hummer's Team version, special moves fixed to match the characters real moves in the Arcade version and fully detailed endings for each character (including Shang Tsung a Goro).

The same team responsible for this AWESOME hack is releasing Mortal Kombat II Arkade Edition on December 23rd and based on the information and images shown so far, it's going to be another banger, so stay tuned for that version also, you'll have the time of life playing it, i can guaratee it.
