Did The Impossible – Atari 2600’s Cosmic Commuter PAL-50Hz Conversion Hack.

A game that was never released officially in the PAL territories in the 1980’s.  Conceived and designed by John Van Ryzin by Activision. It’s a space shooter game similar to Defender which is another Atari 2600 game.

This Hack has not only been tweaked to show in proper colours when playing on a PAL Atari 2600 System. But it is fully converted to run at PAL 50Hz refresh rate which is not very easy to do. A lot of coding was taken to make this impossible thing possible. Now runs what could have been if the Video Game crash never happened.

RomHack works well on the Stella Emulator. Works excellent on real Original hardware using the Harmony Encore Cartridge. It totally works excellent on the 2600+
