Super Mario World: The Definitive Edition is a ROM-Hack of the original Super Mario World game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was made originally as a remaster of the Super Mario World Plus hack which was released in May of 2024. The checksum might be wrong. My file's CRC32 is B19ED489. I couldn't find one with the one listed here.
I applied the patch anyway and it works fine, as far as I can tell by playing the first few levels. All the listed changes seem to be there.
I liked what I saw, but I also noticed some slowdown that is not there in the unpatched rom in the first level to the right of Yoshi's house, "Yoshi's island 2". It was when I ran and tried jumping on all the red turtles from the beginning of the level. I was using Mesen.
...and I don't love the darker color of the brown platforms in "Yoshi's island 3". Just my opinion.
