Author: Mildanner This is a very beautiful Sonic 1 hack that has a lot of impressive and ground breaking things in it that stand it apart from the standard Sonic 1 hacks out there. Mildanner is a Brazilian Sonic modder who hasn’t been around for very long and already shows expert modding capabilities which can easily rival that of Markey Jester, Lone Devil, Sophiedude and several other highly acclaimed and legendary Sonic modders in the community. This hack ports Sonic 3’s engine into Sonic 1 and uses Clownacy’s Sonic 2 clone driver for that crisp and clear audio sample rate. […]

Yeah uh, this is just Sonic 1 in Sonic 3 SCE with palette swaps and mediocre music ports. It's pretty bizarre to see you praise this hack so much in the description when 99% of it wasn't made by Mildanner.

Well Mildanner was credited as the main author. So who was the main modder then? And so what if it's praised highly by myself?

I assume you haven't heard of Sonic Clean Engine yet (despite it being mentioned in the description). See here: https://github.com/TheBlad768/Sonic-1-in-Sonic-3-S.C.E.-
I understand now, that engine is not allowed for commerical use and the terms of use were violated plus everything else was stolen apparently. The hack has a troubled history I only just learned about now. I don't wanna support anything that's stolen or going to cause trouble. As I just told moderator Kandowantu, that in a lot of these situations i'm merely the amplifier between the hack and the outside community when the hack is not one of my own and despite my research on these hacks before posting, the drama and troubled history side of some of these Sonic hacks is not made public so i'm not aware of it, if it was I never would have uploaded it. I was lied to and given false information.

I knew it was a Sonic Clean Engine of Sonic 3 but I had no idea of the violated commerical use of it as well as the other stuff that was used and stolen without permission.

I understand why it had to be removed now and support the reason. The part I don't like is being left in the lurch when one of the entries uploaded suddenly gets taken down with no reason added as to why. I had to ask staff for the reason multiple users requested it to be removed as I honestly thought it was me the sharer and thought I was heading for a ban.

At least on something like Youtube when a video is flagged for copyright or a violation of the terms of use is recorded, there is a section you can find that tells you the name of the claimant or offender with the reason why as well as the particular part in the video where the offending copyright material is located.

Sorry to say this, it is very scrapped. I'm not having any level design skills, plus... These are cancelled and will never go anywhere from what I say, Under Neat is very of my mistake.

We did not create Sonic and we also use other people's disassemblies from like the classic games, for Modern 2D and 3D feels. We use Sonic Mania or RSDK.

I don't know...

Some advice I could give is to verify your sources, and for Mildanner specifically... put more effort into your ROM hacks and don't steal content from other hacks without permission or claim credit for engine development that isn't your own.

Ok, because my ROM Hacks weren't my goal and I don't know importing custom chunks. I lack of level design, but there's tutorial about doing it I guess. Following the simple tile edits and 128x128 art edit but in Genesis.

You don't need to know how to import custom made engines from other people, just use the base Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 engines like all newbies do. For level layout editing you can use this https://info.sonicretro.org/SCHG:SonLVL_Manual/Layout_Editing SonLVL is free to use to the public and a good way to learn how to edit the levels. I should do this myself and make my own hack but i'm lazy and I have a busy life with a wife and two small kids to look after, i'd rather just play what the community puts out to the public. Gavin is like a little puppy and will jump at any chance to do the colour palettes for you so you won't have to bother with that. Then you've basically made a decent, standard Sonic hack and I guarentee you, if it's made into a public ROM bin file, you can bet that AmyRoseLongplays, Razor Zenon, DDAS and Jaypin88 will find it and make videos on it. Whatever you decide to do, don't steal anything, just use public domain tools and the basic Sonic engines from the original games.
