Opinion about Sonic Hacking Contest 2025?

I know the forum isn't explicitly about Sonic, but the Sonic Hacking Contest (SHC) rom hacks and mods competition recently ended.

As for rom hacks, at least in this edition, there were quite a few promising entries, and others that surely should have been left in separate posts instead of being submitted to the SHC.

In my opinion, this edition of the SHC was pretty good. Who knows, I'd like to hear your thoughts on this forum.
 
I thought this year was really stellar! There have been a handful of mid entries, but that's to be expected in any given year. The stuff that stands out does so in a spectacular way though! Really looking forward to some of the demos getting more fleshed out.

I enjoyed participating in it and seeing what everyone had to offer, I probably didn't win anything, but we'll see.
 
Somewhat semantic but I believe Selbis first reply was on-topic, as it's a response to a reply that was kept and the bulk of it was about SHC. All the other trashed replies are fine.
Sorry about uhh, all of that.
