NOTICE – THIS ROM IS BROKEN ON ANY NTSC MACHINES, USE PAL ONLY! Transcription of THE LEGEND from DELTARUNE for the Sega Mega Drive. If you see any bugs which you know how to fix, let me know, and I’ll get to work 🙂

besides graphical glitches and the audio cutting out before it properly ends, this runs decently on an american genesis. most issues seem to only show when the images onscreen are scrolling. (tested on real hardware)

The problem with American Genesises and this ROM is that this was coded with a crap ton of waitTick commands, and is terribly unoptimised. Running on my PAL Mega Drive 1 with TMSS there's barely any. The video is taken on Genesis Plus GX in PAL50 and also works fine on BlastEm too. I also went into NTSC mode about 50% into completion and was like "damn, that's messed up". I will probably create an NTSC version soon.
Also, if you tested it on real hardware, what flashcart did you use? I tested mine with an Everdrive X3, by the way. I unfortunately only have a stock PAL MD 1, no other models, no Mega CD, no 32x, no video mods, no capture card.

This aged well

I now have a PAL Mega Drive II with a Mega CD II and it still has no issues. I've updated the rom with region lockout so people who didn't read the description or ran it on the wrong region accidentally will get a message saying it's a PAL only rom for now. An NTSC version will be created once i get around to it, but it'll probably be once I optimise and fix the main rom
