Description

A hack for Saga2/Final Fantasy Legend 2 that extends the game with new locations, sprites, bosses, cut scenes, monsters, abilities, items, a new post-game quest, and more. Also included are major bug fixes.

List of features:

Patch isn't working. Not running on mGBA or BGB

It worked fine for all my playtesters. Could you verify the Hash information of the ROM after you patched it? See the readme file under "installation instructions" if you don't know hot to get the hash info.

This is what I got after using LIPS and the original rom hash matches what you have here: Filename: Saga 2 - A Haniwas Contingency.gb CRC-32: c9ef74e0 SHA-1: 7398c8464228028a82d2b44dc7c16ce1757217c3

I got it to run on VBA but if I have any further issues I'll let you know.

So it looks like a few devices/emulators do not like the checksum of the ROM. I will fix the checksum in a few days with a version 1.01. in the meantime, I am glad you got it working!

Yeah I got it to work on mGBA without the BIOS files, it's how I usually play 'cause I like seeing the intro. Looks great though dude. I'm gonna play the snot out of it now.
Ok Impala! 2025-04-05
This hack looks awesome! A real boon for FFL2 fans!

I updated the hack to version 1.01, which fixes the bad checksum. This should hopefully enable it to run on real hardware and/or any emulator you choose.
