Earthbound Beginnings – The Revamped Editon is a fork of Earth Bound Beginnings 25th Faithful Edition by Rodimus Primal, Mother 25th Faithful Edition by ShadowOne333, and Mother 25th Anniversary Edition by DragonDePlatino along with the Earth Bound 0 / Mother Window Hack by Giygas999 and EarthBound Zero Tweaks By Q Changes in Mother: 25th Anniversary Edition All enemy graphics, NPC sprites and tiles are be redrawn from scratch to be more faithful to the clay models. The goofy enemies are goofier and the creepy enemies are creepier. A shiny new font and title screen was added, too! The overworld has […]

LunarIPS says none of the .ips files here are actually .ips files. And FloatingIPS says that none of the .ips files here were made for the ROM(s) I've tried to apply them to.

The hash listed here is for the glitchy unreleased prototype but the naming conventions of the .ips files match up to other releases, and there are no instructions to speak of.

Really want to give this a shot but I think something went wrong somewhere, maybe during upload or during the creation of the .ips files themselves. Other than that, clear instructions stating which .ips files are for which ROM(s) would be nice.

Edit: It does seem to work on the prototype ROM, but LunarIPS still refuses to use any of the .ips files included. I'm using the latest 64-bit version of LunarIPS so I don't think that's the problem. But with how large the patch is in comparison to the ROM it seems like it includes much of the game itself so hopefully that means it doesn't suffer from any of the problems the prototype usually has.

well the rom you would have to use is the one from hidden palace i think and also the 2 bonus ips files are for those who prefer the original US prototype sprites rather than the 25th anniversary edition ones mainly for use on nes classic or emulators

First, the hash posted is wrong, these patches are looking for this file:
CRC-32: f5ef5002
MD5: 5bacf7ba94c539a1caf623dbe12059a3
SHA-1: 505cc723e0c8d66baaaf9597f21a505a88291f64

Second, these are actually .bps files (not .ips files), you need to rename them. I use Floating IPS patcher and it worked fine.

If your file is this CRC-32: 7b1be8c2, you can change it to CRC-32: f5ef5002 by changing byte 6 from 0x43 to 0x42.
