Thanks for this awesome project, I'm supporting you on my small youtube channel. I will be watching for updates.
By far the most amazing SMK Rom Hack I've ever played, a Hack like this is definitely worthy of being played 110%. Big ups to you Gridatttack and keep up the wonderful work, really hope to see another amazing SMK Rom Hack like this one in the further future.
I'm getting a checksum error at the start with v1.2 when running it through SNES9X. It runs but is this normal? ROM requirements are marked as the same. The previous version worked without issue or I just missed this (same ROM CRC32 of CD80DB86) Tried this source and Romhacking. Same result. Am I worrying about nothing?
This looks absolutely incredible. Thank you. Looking forward to getting this running on my SNES Mini.
Just played a little and used the BSNES HD emulator. Sure there are sprite popin/popout.. but man the widescreen hehe! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2158777279
Love this feature! Thanks for doing all this for us. Hopfully we will discover many exicting projects through this feature and talk about them right there!
Thank you for making this patch, this should've been in the game from the get-go considering how notoriously difficult it is for most. Very useful stuff
Yeah, if you know your assembly, ARMIPS is a very good idea, but the docs were addressed to people who come with zero knowledge. Basically with those tools the code part is taken care, and you just need to find the info in the hex and actually translating, instead of requiring you to make your own tools from scratch.
You can probably disregard this but might still be worth asking. I wonder if it would not be much simpler to use ARMIPS since you need to look up where the text data is stored.. Then the assembler takes care of the pointers and you could focuse good labels for the different text. I never heard of Atlas and I do not do translations.. still thanks for sharing your resources.
Hey! Thank you so much! Glad to hear you enjoyed it, and yeah you beat it so far. Next you would have been able to go through the castle and exit the other side north of the wall. I really appreciate what you said about the music, part of me never thought I would be able to figure that out, and I'm really proud of the results.

I do not intend to port the full Doom II. The Time Extension article about this hack claims that this will be a full port, but that claim is false. Sorry.
