Hello Shadow501. I would like to start playing your patch. I have some questions: Do I need to apply the patch on an especific version of the game? Is there a way to know if I apply it correctly? Recommendations? Thank you for this, have a version to keep Odessa alive is really great.
Very cool hack. Only one YouTube link is necessary though, I feel like I'm reading spam from an AI bot.
Thanks for your kind words, I'm unfamiliar with caliber.50 both in the arcade and the megadrive/genesis, so I'm not sure if I could really add any meaningful color adjustment, but we'll see as time goes by.
No worries, bro. Sorry for the way I acted. Thanks for this awesome hack. Talk about the definitive MK game! 😉
All fixed up now on my end. The correct hash is added BEFORE now not AFTER, I am sorry for the misinformation, not a dick so shouldn't have anymore trouble. If you do have trouble patching let me know.
Information is corrected now, You were right! For some reason I was adding it AFTER. You still should be able to patch it though.
Settle down! No one's stirring up any trouble, it was just a misunderstanding, you're right I retraced my steps and fixed it up. Not sure why I was adding it after but the correct hash is added BEFORE not AFTER now. Whether the hash is correct or not still doesn't explain why you lot are having trouble patching it?
Then why am I getting the same exact CRC-32 after patching?! You either are lying or just wanting to stir up trouble! You're the only one saying it's the correct CRC-32 before patching, and so far you've got 3 people saying otherwise. I think majority rules in this case.
That's the CRC-32 that it turns into AFTER the ROM is patched! I checked it out for myself! You need to go back and retrace your steps!
Turns out, that CRC-32 that is listed is what it becomes AFTER patching the ROM. I checked it out for myself.
I just bought a retrobit wireless 6 button controller and Mortal Kombat 1 was one of the first games I tried with it just out of curiosity to see if the controller bug was present or not and to my surprise the pad responds to every input just like the official original wired 6 button controller, yet my 8-bit DO M30 2.4G wireless 6 button controller doesn't. But your patch I would still highly recommended to the community just in case.
Certain controllers seem to work better than others with Vanilla. But this is good information to have for sure. :)
I just discovered that the Retrobit 6 button wireless controller works with the vanilla game perfectly! Buttons start and C are not jerky like on the 8-bit DO M30 2.4G 6 button controller. Must be something about that original 6 button design?
Aside of the english translation, I like the game as it is when it came out, these upgrades can be done using game genie/par codes
That's very nice! I do have a Discord Account We should create a Discord Server for this game so we can share our findings and collaborate
Maybe I can help you hack the game. Do you have a Discour because I am also trying to hack the game? I can change the shots, change the ball colors, and change the players’ energies. I have all the codes. I can also change the color of the players' clothes.

I saw, and I updated my patch to v1.03 to make the game playable on Mesen/Mesen2. Test it out to see if it works on either of those emulators now. ;)
